The “NABRE” Roman Daily Missal, Liturgy of the Hours, and NABRE Concordances function with the New American Bible, Revised Edition, (NABRE), because theologians have elucidated biblical chronology since events which occurred at the time of christ. The NABRE Missal and Liturgy in partiular expand upon the NABRE bible, in part by explaining and demonstrating Bible events in a continuum of chronological order where events such as the Birth, Baptism, Crucifiction, and Ascension of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are organized and presented as Catholic Time, such as; Ordinary and Christmas Time, which transition to Christmas time at approximately the Hibernal solstice (approximately 11/21), when the Feast Of Christ the King ends Ordinary Time and begins Catholic Christmas Time on 11/25. Additionally, Catholic time includes Lent and Easter Time.
In addition to marking the transition from Lenten Time to Easter Time on Ash Wednesday; these Roman Missal and Roman Liturgy calandars depict many Catholic feast days and various Catholic holidays that demonstrate an assimilative connectivity to what might termed pagan traditions, or, perhaps, to such as the equinox and solstice demarcated seasonality pertaining to things like harvest seasonality, to the lenten, and to the lourde, which, prior to Christ and Christendom, would have included solar, lunar, and celestial phenomenon that would have been the basis of paganisms that the church has sought to assimilate.
In biblical terms, the beginning of the Gregorian Calandar is just over two milenia ago at the birth of christ, and the beginning of time is perhaps a millenia or two prior and perhaps best defined as a point in evolutionary time when, metaphorically, God breathed sapience into Adam in pre desertification North Africa somewhere west of the Nile in a then verdant limnologically innundated place which subsequently became arid. Aridity turned to the desertification which then encroached as the pharonic state’s biometric carrying capacity was constricted by the ever encroahing desert sands in proximity to the population centers, leading to problems with agricultural production, etcetera.
Yet, relative to astronomical phenomenon observed as solar, lunar, and celestial phenomenon correlated with known and often recurrent ecological biometrics pertaining to human health and to public heath or to epidemiological perspectives generally, when they are seen and explained as recorded by biblical texts: it is now now known that there is more Time than Catholic Time.
Evolution can be believed in or denied. It is more important, to undertand the valid arguement that Catholic Time, and Catholic tradition as it pertainins to crop seasonality and dietetics, is an approximately 2000 year old written tradition of “feast and famine” seasonality and cultural normalcy stipulation pertaining to human behavior and societal construct of benefit to humans and society.
Today, industrial mechanized fodder production, and post industrial revolution transportation sector food transport has changed most Dietetics from the Catholic Time parameters of the lenten and the lourde of fasting and feasting, into a typical diet being defined as having a more constant nutrient density via protein and fat content, and a near total absence of once prevalent vitamin and mineral deficiency via fortification and transportation sector acces to a greater breadth of market opportunities.
Thus, the point is that the Bible, Missal and Liturgy present a very valid tradition based arguement regarding Catholic Time being a 2000 year transcript of successful methodology pertaining to human viability in evolutionary biological terms. Whereas, there is an undeniable aspect of modern epidemiological dietetics, having descriptors of divergence from tradition as pertaining to mechanized fodder production, nutrient supplementation, and transportation sector based procurement as having wildly diverged from human evolutionary ontogenetic parameters specifically during the 20’th century.
