Our USA’s zones of stipulated thought are as old as the US Civil War and Western Frontier, they were chartered by the Homestead, Pacific Rail, and Morrill Acts of 1862, and, these zones have replaced Ante Bellum States Rights with a Geospecific University Curricular Hierarchy as the exclusive way in which a citizen is to serve either in the more medical population centers, or, in resource extraction and harvest locales, for example…
Federal dollars support the primary industries of each zone and often other industries are poorly represented locally while they yet may be truly important Federal level efforts in the world economy. Zone policy is for the people of the United States…. collectively. Consumer population zone States are goods distribution end points with advanced arts like Medicine and Aerospace as is the case with Connecticut, and meanwhile; geology of ores, trees, water, livestock, and fodder grains, etcetera, are at a Federal Funding Level in other zones; often throughout the Interior.
To quote Plato; the leader concerns himself with the wellbeing of the state, the warriors run the affairs of the state, and the citizens are free to live in a free and prosperous state. Television, produced by media industry corporations, which are not our government, forms the actual basis upon which most adults understand what might be called the “inter-zone” policy of vehement, crippling partisanship.
Hypothesis: zone to zone angst and hate are fomented by the Media Industry Corporations and there is, hypothetically, oversight. Thus, the question becomes somewhat of a statement: “What if the Media Industry Corporations presented resource exploitation zones as being populated by good American’s? Urban masses might relocate; perhaps demanding access to Federal lands for the harvest of Home Building lumber? Meanwhile: what if the media sent young people west with dreams of adventure sport. What happened in the 1990’s when NASA and NOAA were relatively recent and the Weather Channel was new? Consider also the 1956 Superhighway and National Defense Act and the transformation of New England’s Agronomy at around 1970 when Earth Day ideations were introduced as a “Counterculture”.
There are competing cartographies of endorsement politicking by media and there are reasons and consequences in the resultant perspectives on demographics.

Across Geological time, organic materiel at certain times dies and occasionally is trapped by geological factors to become coal, oil and natural gas… So, the entirety of the “organic” world is comprised of both living and dead components. Life and fossilized previous life…
The world is an often biometric web of living and dead organic life. And, inanimate metallurgical and mineralogical materiel. It is the inputs of substantive economic product which are often reconnoitered, prospected, surveyed, cultivated, extracted and harvested for anthropocentric “wise use” purposing. Processes in the entire continuum of obtainment and use result in food, medicine, goods, constructs, materiel, sustenance, sanitation, transport, habitation, electrification, conflict and waste.
Cartography and Geospatial Information Systems provide a Graticule of coordinates within which the materiel of civilization can be found. A correlated aspect of harvest and extraction is that the living, and dead fossilized, organic and carboniferous aspect of life on earth is a complexity of Sea, Air, and Land which exhibits “organic interconnectedness”. This is to say that “[Carboniferous] Life” is often more than the individual living specimen….
