There is more geological time in the entirety of world history than is described in the Pentateuch/Tanach. The Pentateuch Tanach is a compendium of books of human interpretations, by authors like Moses; of all things and they are the presentation of a history of the entire known world. By way of comparison, geological time can define concerns of terra forma predating the human nature of scripture.
