At university I had a complex where I believed everything I knew was common knowledge and that I was supposed to know something far more formulaic and alphanumeric. Now I feel that people can understand most of what I might say to them yet that no one knows anything before it is spoken from a more divine and learned place. Biblically God spoke from the deep and created the world in seven days such that we were tasked with going fourth to exert his dominion o’er Sea and Land. Philosophically, Plato’s allegory of the cave is that knowledge can only be achieved by being taught to turn and face the light rather than watching shadows. I feel blessed in a way for having gotten so lost and nowadays I feel ever more found. Thanks seem due unto God, teachers, professors, and my doctors.
