The Archaeopteryxes are plentiful in the carboniferous fuels shale. Being there on the Mesopotamian floodplain has been a fantastic data and proxy collection experience… And I only wish I had my assistant… Genesis Mia… because here at the impact site, foraging skeins ride the upwelling heat like vigils of vultures… seeking anything that has survived since the meteoric impact. And we believe the skeins can elucidate just how much death and decay is here beneath the shifting sands… Now, in previous ornithological time travel research, Similar skeins of geese and flocks of migratory songbirds were found to perceive migratory geomagnetic phenomenon, and, over a notable Aurum deposit, where AuTe gold crystals were found to either attract birds or to be an anomaly in their migratory sensation over the seam access points in the mine. So, while I am denounced as “merely a science fiction writer” I do hereby attest to the temporality flux in which I have found various species of migratory species of class Aves… seemingly surveying Mesopotamia for residual life, or swarming over Tellurium where substantial ore lodes of AuTe are found.
